The number one thing you want to remember is that on FanDuel strikeouts are king! Wins are worth 6 points, quality starts are worth 4 points. A quality start is when a pitcher pitches 6 innings and gives up 3 runs or less. Each strike out is worth 3 points, and pitchers get 3 points per inning pitched.
A moneyline is a straight up bet on the outcome of a game. The favorite is always indicated by a minus sign (-), and the underdog is indicated by a plus sign (+). In the case of the favorite, the moneyline is the amount a bettor would have to wager to win $100. For the underdog, the moneyline is the amount a bettor stands to win if they were to wager $100.
When making a moneyline bet on an MLB game, you are betting which team will win the game straight-up. Because there isn’t a point spread, the payout will change based on the moneyline odds. For the favorite, the odds is the dollar amount you must bet to get a $100 payout. For the underdog, you must bet $100 to get the odds number as a payout.

DraftKings ‘ default option in its regular MLB betting section is Action. You have to scroll to the Listed Pitchers tab to get that option. FanDuel will give you a dropdown option in your bet slip after you’ve selected the game — it’s much more in your face, while DraftKings is in a completely different menu.
